Lake Tahoe, Golf and More

A" through the windshield" picture of climbing the mountain road to Tahoe and cooler weather.
One of the cute homes in Lake Tahoe
Another cute one, somewhat larger, eh?
Just let me move right into this one! LOL
A "Welcome Bear"...thankfully not a REAL one!
JERRY RICE, one of my 49er's
And when I spoke to him there was a
"glimmer" of recognition
from Training Camp Days.
BE STILL MY HEART
GOOD FRIENDS AND S.O. (THE CUTE ONE ON THE LEFT)
This is a pole that tells the snow plow drivers how
close the edge of the road is! Snow comes down in "feet"
not inches!
Boaters along the golf course!

And back home again:
DID I MENTION IT IS HOT HERE???

  3. Joy, I love all your pictures!! But, I have to ask....Did Jerry Rice actually pose for you??

Love the pole to show where the road is! When I first moved to Chicago many years ago, the city came around in the Fall and added little flags to all the fire hydrants in our court and area. I kept wondering about it until Winter arrived! Low and behold...those flags were there so they could find the hydrants...by the second or third snow, everything was covered with a continuous white blanket! The snow was so deep, you couldn't find anything, especially after the streets were plowed! (Keep in mind, I was from NC, where we usually don't get snow, except for a dusting now and again.)
Going back to peek at some older posts and signing up to be a follower!

    Hugs,
    Shari

  6. Thanks for the pictures of Tahoe - I grew up in Truckee and visited Tahoe lots in my youth so it was a trip down memory lane!

  7. Wow!!! LOVE those homes. A girl can dream can't she?

Thanks for the advice on my living room. I am leaning towards a blanket crane and being able to change it out for the season.
